A well groomed puppy is happy and healthy. There is no downside to keeping a puppy clean and brushed, It will help you bond and it will even save you money at the grooming salon and veterinary clinic! The puppy will look better, get more pats and be welcomed in more places!

Don't choose a breed based on looks alone! If you like the looks of a breed, that's okay, but don't let it be the only reason for choosing a breed! Personality and temperament are more important then looks. Take it from us many people get into trouble with coat maintenance and other things! So do your homework or ask a professional!

Then that same puppy is now 55 lbs and now a full size dog! She's not a puppy anymore. She's a dog! And she'll be a dog for the rest of her life. This is when you begin to learn she's truly the right dog for you! Or not? A lot depends on wether you did your home work before you brought that precious puppy into your life! Do yourself a favor talk to your groomer, vets and read, read read!
