Body Benefits specializes in advanced skin treatments including facials customized to your skins needs, chemical peels, and laser treatments for age spots and broken blood vessels. Additionally, Body Benefits offers deep hydrating, slimming and detoxifying body treatments and massage; laser hair removal; detailed manicures and pedicures; as well as botox, juvederm and cosmetic fillers performed by Dr. Jennifer Andrade.

At Body Benefits Day Spa, the beauty therapists have also been trained with Cinema Secrets and Glo Minerals paramedical make-up. These lines are perfect for everyday use protecting from UVA/UVB rays naturally, as well as used to heal and conceal the skin after micodermabrasion, chemical peels or laser. Cinema Secrets and Glo Minerals make-up contain the added benefits of green tea extract, vitamins A, C, E and K as well as an antiseptic to fight bacteria.

Founded	1992

	Melanie Bains of Body Benefits started working with makeup when she was 14 and by the time she was 16, was in charge of makeup for a small theatre group. At 18, Bains was doing makeup for modeling agencies where she also modeled. During her career, Bains has worked with numerous Bridal parties and many photographers where her work has been featured in several magazines and advertising campaigns; she placed sixth in Canada for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy at the annual ABA show in Toronto, and Melanie was head of makeup for Canada Pageants for 4 years. We have been offering medical aesthetics including micro-dermabrasion since 1999 and 16 different chemical peels since 1994. We have offered laser for hair removal, hyper- pigmentation, age-spots, rosacea, vascular lesions, and acne clearing since 2005. All trainings were with Palomar Medical in Boston and several series of updated trainings in Woodbridge @ Voice Plastic Surgery. Dr. Jennifer Andrade is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Medically, she has had several years of experience involving injectables for therapeutic treatments. To broaden her scope of practice, she undertook training in the administration of Botox for upper & lower face, neck and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). She is an Allergan certified Level IV Botox injector. She has also been certified in the use of cosmetic fillers, IPL and laser. For several years, she operated ‘The About Face Centre for Cosmetic Medicine’ in London focusing her expertise on performing cosmetic injectable procedures. She is committed to remaining in the forefront of the field of injectable medical aesthetic technology. To this extent, she continually updates her knowledge and skills through regular participation at medical seminars and through research of current literature. Mary specializes in the treatment of fibromyalgia, sciatica, accute and chronic pain, injuries, relaxation and pregnancy massage.
