My friend mentioned your company and I am glad I did. Customer service is top notch and willing to go that extra mile to make sure you get your product. I am a customerfor life. If everyone could have customer service like Antler River does.
I grew up in Komoka and now live outside Strath and have been involved in archery for over 20 years and i cant express how happy i am to have an incredible local bow-shop with such a broad variety of goods and an incredibly helpful staff, will be a life long customer and keep up the great work!
Bought my first crossbow from Antler River .Everyone at the store was great to deal with and very helpful. When I was leaving the store I left some items behind, They made arrangements to get the items to me and saved me a trip back to the store approx. 100 km round trip.
Family outing ... Hunger Games styles!!! What a blast! Mom, dad, 9-year old son, and 11-year old daughter loosing arrows Katniss style. Jordan our instructor was awesome - knowledgeable, encouraging, and just plain fun to hang out with.
Relieve a little stress, focus you concentration, and release a little dopamine into you brain (I think I’m getting a little shot just thinking about it). Highly recommended for a bonding family activity.
We’ll be back very soon to learn more, have fun, and challenge ourselves.
Our son took lessons here and they were phenomenal dealing with him and he really enjoyed the lessons. They also very helpful and patient with him when he picked out a glove to use in his lessons.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn to shoot a bow. We will definitely be back for more classes and lessons. Store is nicely laid out, and everyone is helpful.
I purchased the Montana Whitetail Freshman Buck Deer Decoy several weeks ago from Antler River Archery. Best product I've purchased in years. I've never seen anything like it. Due to it's smaller size as a young Buck looking for a territorial challenge, it brings deer in from all directions in my bush. They can see it very well and from anywhere in the bush. I place mine about 17 yards away from my tree stand and then, I spray it with cover cent followed by a couple small squirts of buck attractant on the rear end. I then followup with a few buck grunts in my tree stand. Believe it or not, it draws in both bucks and doe's. The bucks for a challenge and the doe's for curiosity. The doe's are not afraid of the decoy, simply because of it's smaller buck size. I just nailed a nice deer the other and it's now at the abattoir being processed. Now I'm ready to use by additional deer tag and hopefully bag another nice deer.
Thanks to the advice of both Chris and James at Antler River Archery. They are awesome and have tons of hunting experience between the two of them.
Received my first lesson with Chris yesterday at the Antler River Range; first time I'd ever been inside the shop, first time I'd ever even HELD a bow, let alone loosed an arrow of any kind! I was absolutely petrified of being hurt, but Chris' encouragement and calm demeanour while giving fantastic instruction (as well as explaining the "whys") helped me push through the fears I had (never got hurt once!) and, allowed me to enjoy shooting so much that I outfitted myself that very day, and promised him I'd be back...again and again and again! (I'd have been silly not to after making a "Robin Hood" shot fairly early into the lesson and then, making the "coveted" 18 meter shot "dead on" (an internationally accepted competition distance, Chris tells me) at the end of the lesson, never having held a bow before that day and all done by "gap shooting". This speaks VOLUMES about Chris' great instruction!) James was wonderfully welcoming and showed me every little thing I needed as a beginner, and even showed me some of the things that I would like to consider for myself in future. I never felt pressured to buy anything, and James was honest and direct in his opinions about what I'd need as a beginner starting out, as well as steering me away from anything that would just be frivolous and expensive for a beginner - he never made me feel pressured into buying anything that I didn't actually need (or want) to get myself started! He too was wonderful with explanations and information about ANYTHING in the store you can imagine, and VERY patient with someone like me who sometimes has difficulty making decisions when shopping with a singular purpose like this. They were both just GREAT! I'll be seeing you on the range fellas...and I'm already "dreaming up" all kinds of questions and ideas about all the different customizations and upgrades that you offer, right there in house! THANKS GUYS, FOR THE BEST DAY OUT I'VE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME! Looking forward to many more of them with my new recurve! :)
Most knowledgeable and friendliest staff. James and Chris can answer any and all questions you have, from beginner to experienced bow enthusiasts. Cant beat the prices either.
Drove past it a few times, sparked an interest, finally decided to stop and visit the store. Very impressed with layout and selection of archery products, compound bows, recurve bows, crossbows, arrow selections, clothing, etc. accessories,, Top of the line technical setup to advise , try out, fit for you out for archery. Very competitive prices in both Canadian and US markets. Friendly , experienced and most helpful staff always ready to lend a hand in improving your archery experience. . A great indoor range with follow up on any adjustments your bow may require after you begin target shooting and loads of professional advice. I bought a compound and enjoying the range.
Started out buying a bow for my son. Ended up buying one for myself and daughter also. Staff is awesome, and I would highly recommend Antler River to everyone.
Great place and friedly staff. Went shooting with the family in ther range. My sons peep site come off his bow and the staff put it back in for him no charge. Great place.
Just purchased a Bowtech Realm X. Thanks James and Chris for all the help in getting the bow set up. Will definitively recommend Antler River to anyone looking for a new bow.
Wow, the knowledge, willingness to help out, recommending options and the deep love for the sport and the outdoors is present everywhere in this store and staff! Awesome place just to look at all the mounts and a ton of great products!
We started out as a group of 5 for a 14 year olds birthday outing. Well you guessed it we now all own bows and arrows and love it. Our instructor was awesome and gives us lots of tips every time we are at the range. The staff is so helpful and kind and always have time to answer questions or give you a hand. Love our new sport!!! Thanks.
After bringing a skeptical 14 year old to the range for his birthday... they helped to bring a new archer into the fray. After nailing balloons and smiling non stop... I can't wait to come back and fit him for a proper bow and arrows. Finally found something he's interested in and can't wait to spend some father son time together. Thanks guys, you made a great birthday present come true!
I was referred to Antler River by two people. Bought my first compound bow from them. Super helpful, very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and went beyond. Big thanks to Chris for giving me a quick lesson on proper stance and teaching me to aim properly.
Best costumer service I’ve had.
I’ve owned the Diamond Edge SB-1 for a few weeks now and I regret not getting into archery sooner.
so after a year of personal hell, my strength is gone. the staff helped me pick out a bow (arrows the whole pkg) on the weekend that can grow with me , and not frustrate me ending up in a corner or being sold because i gave up. today i was at the range and love being able to shoot again. thank you guys love the service
I knew there was something wrong with my bow, but I couldn't pin point it. I had the day off, so I decided to take it with me for my first trip to Antler River. Man am I glad I did! Chris did a lot of diagnosing and found mutiple issues. After about 45mins of tuning, shooting, tuning then more shooting, Chris had turned my bow into a tack driver! But it doesn't end there, the customer service was top notch. I've been to pretty much every hunting/outdoor store in SW Ontario and it seems that 80% of the employees do not know much about the industry. James and Chris are the opposite. They're very friendly AND knowledgable. I know where I'm going for all my archery needs!
This is a grand best of bow shops l ever seen.Myself and my 2 sons that hunt were just there last weekend.Chris helped us pick out our bows when he was still at Arches nook where he used to work.I`am sure he is missed very much but is a real bonus to Antler river Archery. We plan on going back there on their grand Opening on April 15 Sat and want to meet the rest of the family and staff personally. So please come one come all and to all bowhunters of Ontario and support this great Bow shop. .
I'm new to archery, and spent a month looking for a shop that was willing to take the time to get me properly fitted. In addition be willing to order a new custom built dream bow to my specific needs. Antler River went above and beyond to listen to all my specific demands, and gave me everything I wanted by doing it right the first time. I'm now the proud owner of my first bow. Staff, Facility, and ability to listen to customers needs makes Antler River a 5 star experience.
A big Thank you to the staff for the time they took setting my wife up with her new bow. She loves it and couldn't be happier with her shooting now. Thanks again Don.
I'm just starting out in archery, and have had one lesson with Christopher. Now I'm trying to find the best bow for me, and getting some ideas about the equipment. James and Christopher have been really helpful. Even though I'm a "newbie" they're willing to give advice and won't just sell a product for the sake of a sale. The shop is great - all sorts of stuff, so if you're a serious archer/bowhunter they've probably got what you want! Definitely going back there.
Hello I always used to go to a archery shop in London, Then I found out that Chris was not there anymore so the trip to the archery shop wouldn't be same. So there's no doubt that i will be coming here for Chris' business.
