Im a senior...set in my ways. Was looking for a new washing machine. Tried locally...and at the BIG BOX stores. No one could tell me when my item would be delivered...maybe a week...maybe longer. I was given advice to try London Major Appliances.I am so glad I listened and went. Wow...the staff, the atmosphere...It was Super. No one pushed us into anything.Dave helped us and couldnt have been more patient and knowledgeable.They offered us a nice cold drink while we were browsing. They price match.They have deliveries daily. I dont know why anyone would shop anywhere else.It's a huge store with so many brands to choose from.I hope nothing else breaks...but if it does, I know I wont have to run around.I will only shop there.SUPER EXPERIENCE!
Spent over $6000 on GE cafe appliances, they suggested a step above the common models, you pay for what you get, you want them to last you a life time you know,even though the warranty they give you should be a red flag as to how much faith they have in there product, and the sales men are right there pushing this crap into you,well the $900 microwave only lasted a few months , of coarse the tech comes to the house unplugs it and plugs it back in and says you are good to go, lasted 2 weeks and had him in 3 times and suggested we keep unplugging it and plugging it back in,ya right, so just before the warranty was up I made an appt. to have the tech come back and fix it properly, well he finally showed up even though I phoned before the warranty was up , he showed up after it was up to tell me I need a repair that was $1100, ya $1100 repair on a $900 product and in the mail got a $80.80 bill for a service call I had to pay,talked to the manager , thinking a store that deals just with appliances and good products would be better than a Leon's, future shop, tepermans sort of thing, but no....when it comes to warranty they say you have to deal with GE themselves, and good luck with that one,he did though offer to sell me the part for $571.47 plus tax and I could put it in myself,,,,now $1100for them to do it and $571 for me to do it.....that is roughly $600 in labour for them to do it....wow I know you have an overhead but wow....just disappointed in London major appliance....with all that marketing and radio commercials you think you are buying from a place that would kinda stand behind a customer and one who didn't come in to buy a fridge one who spent over $6000 in appliances, even the car dealerships help out in warrany work being a little out but not these guys. Oh well all vented out and know we're not to buy next time
