As you probably are already aware, this upcoming weekend is a Holiday Weekend. Though July 1st actually falls on Sunday this year, it is Monday that is the actual STAT holiday. But Janet thought it might be considerate to give everyone here at the shop a well deserved long weekend and be closed for both Sunday, July 1st AND Monday, July 2nd. Thus, here are our store hours for this weekend…
Holiday Weekend Store Hours:
Saturday, June 30th – Open 9:30 am – 5:00 pm [FYI - this is the last & final day to take advantage of our SSK Membership Promo]
Sunday, July 1st – CLOSED
Monday, July 2nd – CLOSED
Tuesday, July 3rd – regular business hours resume

Mystery Knit-a-Long (MKAL) starting early July 2018!
Suitable for ALL Knitters, from Beginner through to Experienced.
We are offering two versions of this MKAL
including both Hand Knitters AND Machine Knitters!
Please join in the fun!
This MKAL is great if you want some portable summer hand-knitting; great for ‘in the car’ or ‘travel’ knitting, as the project(s) are small and easy to knit. And since the LK150 knitting machine is easy to transport, even ‘Cottagers’ can take their MKAL along with them too!
Starting July 5th and every following Thursday, for a total of 3 weeks, you will be given a new clue with knitting instructions to knit your project. As to what the final projects that you are knitting – well, this is the ‘mystery’ part! Though, we will give you a little hint: You will be knitting, either by hand or by machine, some very useful household items.
You will receive a new clue by email each Thursday for 3 weeks (3 clues in all).
Starting today, Monday, June 25th, we will begin taking registrations for London Yarns newest Mystery KAL. You can register in person or by phone at 519-474-0403. The cost will be $16.98 to ‘play along’ with us (this price includes pattern and all the yarn needed to complete the MKAL). After registering, you will receive a list of requirements (i.e. needles, notions, etc) so that you can be ready to begin when you receive your first clue.
We do hope that you can join us, as these MKAL’s are a lot of FUN!!
