Sorry, this is an inquiry and not a review…. I have a cardigan my late wife knitted for me about 45 years ago (a stocking stitch ?, likely a Mary Maxim pattern). The right elbow is unravelling. I’m hoping you can help with a repair. It is not worn out or worn thru. If you do this kind of work or can recommend someone, I’d really appreciate it. I’m contacting you on recommendation of Suzanne French from Knit Switch. I’m really hoping you might be able to help me. I must get it repaired. Thank you.
Hi Bill: I understand the need to get the sweater repaired. We usually have one of our staff members look after such requests, but with Covid times, she has not been working in the store. Until things improve and she gets back to work, I don't have anyone currently who can do the work. I wonder if one of those alteration shops you see in little kiosks in the mall would take something like that on? Maybe inquire at a dry cleaner to see if they could recommend the services of someone who would have that kind of skill set? I really hope you are able to find someone to help and if not, please reach back out to us as things open up more. All the best, Janet
I can’t say enough good things about the staff and quality of yarns at this store. Janet, Cathy, Patti Ann, Jenn, and Nancy have always gone out of their way to help me in selecting patterns, yarns and other knitting supplies. My questions are never too many or too dumb and they are always up for any challenge. Thank you to all!

Your store is the absolute BEST!!! I took the Alaskan hat class from Janet and learned so much. Even though I am a "senior" who has been knitting since age 13, I was a little anxious as to whether I would do well in the course. Not only have I knitted two of the hats, I want to do many more. My older daughter was recipient of first one for her birthday. I mailed it to BC. She said she LOVES it and wears it every chance she gets... which is a lot right now (Feb/Mar 2020)! Janet is such an EXCELLENT instructor AND very patient. You will love her AND the store. Yarn there is so beautiful, you just want go make everything.
I was thrilled to receive my order this morning in just 3 days! Wonderful service and wonderful products! So happy to find a store in Ontario that meets my needs. So fast to respond to e-mails too.
I was fortunate enough to find them during my time in London. The staff was always supportive and open to questions when I tried something new. Thanks to Janet and Jen I learned to knit real socks!!!

What can I say... The Staff are fabulous. They know their products and really know how to assist you. They inspire me to try new products or patterns or just understand I need a fiber fix.
