Shop Local began in early 2013, deeply rooted in a passion to help local businesses grow within their immediate communities. I believe in supporting local businesses as these business owners are risking everything they have to do something amazing; they are taking a risk and putting themselves out on a limb. That is incredible! After graduating from the Business Administration program at Lambton College, I settled in London with my daughter, who is five going on sixteen, and quickly grew to respect the community in which we live. I started my own home business with Avon, and now with the support of my spouse and daughter, I am proud to support other businesses with Shop Local. I am also passion about supporting women’s causes within our community, primarily Breast Cancer events, the Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope and helping initiatives in the community that support abused women. We all have a story, we all have a voice. Shop Local believes in being loud and doing good in our communities.
